We had an opportunity to volunteer for the Pacific Beach Coalition, a nonprofit organization that focuses on ocean conservation and coastal cleanups. We were there from 9 am to 11 am, uprooting multiple different kinds of harmful weeds. The organizers provided us with valuable information regarding invasive species and their detrimental effects on the community. They instructed us on the appropriate methods for uprooting the weeds that were depleting the environment’s resources.

We learned a lot with 2 years of FLL competitions and 1 year of FTC competitions. We have shared our knowledge and the strategies we used to win a qualifier innovate award and a qualifier-winning alliance. Last season, all the FLL teams we helped qualified to the next level of competition. We donated all of our FLL equipment robots and parts to local community teams to motivate and kickstart them just like what we got from the We Love Pi team last season.
